Reviews
The food and service are great! They have outside setting and a band on the weekends weather permitting.
We both got the large cod special for 1199. The fish was impressive inside it was all well done. It was a little bit salty. It seems like it might be kind of like green river style. It was breaded. The fries, however, were a bit chewy they were crinkle cuts, she said the slaw was too sweet although they gave her a lot of it they let me have cottage cheese instead since I don't eat slaw it was OK. They also have apple sauce as an option and that's about the ketchup It was less than stellar was less than stellar. They do have big red as a bonus and Coke products. Beware the price on the menu is for cash. I believe the surcharge is 8% for credit. As I always do I just took that off the tip. I know this isn't far but I won't pay this so someone has to.
Wonderful little 'hole in the wall' tavern, waitress was exceptionally nice and the food tasted great (and it was affordable)! I can see why people love this place!
What a little gem in Seymour tucked in behind the hospital. A 100 year old bar, just what you'd expect inside, and a typical bar menu (sometimes normal and typical is just what you want), something for everyone. But the real plus is outside; a patio and covered tent area to make perfect outdoor dining. Well behaved dogs are invited and given little water bowls. They even provide little fans for each table to scoot away the flying things that come with summer outdoor dining. But the real stars of the place are the wait staff: friendly, efficient, and genuinely give hospitality.
Slow after order! Nice atmosphere and clean. Nice neighborhood and friendly staff. Patty melt was good with generous beef patty. Could use more cheese but nice overall. Fish and chips (Frys) were big portions and cooked well! Frys were perfectly crispy and delicious!
